Activity Level
Experience a legacy of horses and heritage at the magnificent, former 800-acre estate of cereal magnate W.K. Kellogg on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. Our experience begins with a student-guided tour of Kellogg's charming 1926 ranch-style mansion, a California landmark perched on a hill overlooking the campus and featuring a unique blend of various architectural styles. We’ll then enjoy a delicious, included buffet lunch with dessert at the Kellogg West Conference Center, where hospitality students gain hands-on experience in hospitality management. This afternoon, we’ll take our seats for the famed Arabian Horse Show at the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center. This long-standing tradition that showcases the intelligence, versatility and beauty of the Arabian breed was started by Kellogg himself in 1926. You'll see Cal Poly Pomona students perform in a variety of disciplines, from Native Costume to Ladies Side Saddle. As a final treat, we’ll visit the Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store for an opportunity to purchase fresh produce and other unique local goodies to take home. In inclement weather, a visit to Logan’s Candies will be included in lieu of the horse show.
To ensure a healthy and enjoyable travel experience for our guests, this tour will operate with additional health & wellness measures in place.
